HOW COME YOU ARE SO UNIQUE?

If you don’t know your identity, you will live in deformity.

How true this is! Your identity is who you are, and who you are is a function of your purpose on earth. Many people don’t have the slightest knowledge of their purpose on earth. Indeed, the word purpose does not exist in their dictionary, hence, their present predicament.

I saw a young man very presentable physically and with such a glorious destiny from the little I saw of him. I was so interested in having a conversation with him to be sure he knew about himself. What I got was a huge shock. He was just about his good looks and nothing more.

This is the case with many young and even old people. Many destinies have been truncated because the carriers didn’t, and don’t know what they carry. Their identity isn’t known to them. They all desire to be known as someone important which isn’t out of place as man was created in the image and likeness of God, but the way to get there have been hidden from them. Why?

Environment combines effectively with gene to determine one’s character as postulated by scientists. This is very true. Environment, if allowed, hardly give anything good. Though nature knew no sin, nature has been corrupted by mankind. So, people in our environment , especially the ones whose minds have been seared with hot iron of spiritual wickedness, have handed many destinies difficult tasks which they must fulfill before they came become what God wants them to become.

Those tasks are usually impossible to accomplish since spiritual matters cannot be accomplished with physical strength. Such is the reason many are living below the standard of their natural and spiritual endowment. Your uniqueness is your destiny. You’re destined for greatness. God created all of us in His imagine and likeness. Trust me, God isn’t small and didn’t make small man. We allowed natural wickedness orchestrated by the devil through the instrumentality of human beings to truncate, terminate, and annihilate Destinies (John 10:10).

Your destiny is your uniqueness. On weekly basis, if Jesus tarries, we shall be looking at Destinies and how to fulfill them.

Shocking details of how Abacha died in 1998

Former Chief Security Officer, CSO, to the late Head of State,
Gen Sani Abacha, Major Hamza Al-Mustapha, has revealed shocking
claims that Abacha died after eating an apple from his
concubines.

Narrating how the former Head of State died, Al-Mustapha said
contrary to insinuations, the sudden collapse of the health
system of Abacha started on “Sunday, 7th June, 1998 right
from the Abuja International Airport, immediately after one of
the white security operatives or personnel who accompanied
President Yasser Arafat of Palestine shook hands with him,
Abacha.”

Al-Mustapha said shortly after the hand shake, he “noticed the
change in the countenance of the late Commander-in-Chief and
I informed the Aide-de-Camp, Lt. Col. Abdallah, accordingly.

He, however, advised that we keep a close watch on the Head
of State.”

He said, “Later in the evening of 8th June, 1998, around 6p.m;
his doctor came around, administered an injection to stabilize
him. He was advised to have a short rest.

Happily, enough, by 9p.m; the Head of State was bouncing and receiving visitors until much later when General Jeremiah Timbut Useni, the then
Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, came calling. He was fond of the Head of State. They were very good friends.

“They stayed and chatted together till about 3.35a.m. A friend
of the house was with me in my office and as he was bidding
me farewell, he came back to inform me that the FCT Minister,
General Useni was out of the Head of State’s Guest House
within the Villa. I then decided to inform the ADC and other
security boys that I would be on my way home to prepare for
the early morning event at the International Conference Centre.

“At about 5a.m; the security guards ran to my quarters to
inform me that the Head of State was very unstable. At first, I
thought it was a coup attempt. Immediately, I prepared myself
fully for any eventuality. As an intelligence officer and the Chief
Security Officer to the Head of State for that matter, I devised
a means of diverting the attention of the security boys from my
escape route by asking my wife to continue chatting with them
at the door – she was in the house while the boys were
outside. From there, I got to the Guest House of the Head of
State before them.

“When I got to the bedside of the Head of State, he was
already gasping. Ordinarily, I could not just touch him. It was
not allowed in our job. But under the situation on ground, I
knelt close to him and shouted, ‘General Sani Abacha, Sir,
please grant me permission to touch and carry you.’

“I again knocked at the stool beside the bed and shouted in
the same manner, yet he did not respond. I then realized there
was a serious danger. I immediately called the Head of State’s
personal physician, Dr. Wali, who arrived the place under eight
minutes from his house. He immediately gave Oga – General
Abacha –two doses of injection, one at the heart and another
close to his neck.

“This did not work apparently as the Head of State had turned
very cold. He then told me that the Head of State was dead
and nothing could be done after all. I there and then asked the
personal physician to remain with the dead body while I
dashed home to be fully prepared for the problems that might
arise from the incident.

“As soon as I informed my wife, she collapsed and burst into
tears. I secured my house and then ran back. At that point, the
Aide-de-Camp had been contacted by me and we decided that
great caution must be taken in handling the grave situation.

“Again, I must reiterate that the issue of my boss dying on top
of women was a great lie just as the insinuation that General
Sani Abacha ate and died of poisoned apples was equally a
wicked lie.”

Major Mustapha remains a fearless soldier and has no reason to lie. This account of his is the real account.

Promote our achievements, FG appeals to churches

Agency Report / 13 hours ago

The Federal Government has appealed to Churches and other religious organisations to use their platforms to propagate the achievements of the President Muhammadu Buhari led Administration.

The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, made the appeal at his country home, Oro, near Ilorin, Kwara, when he paid a Sallah visit to the Parish Priest of St Andrews Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. Joseph Awoyale.

He also urged the Churches to use their platform to correct the erroneous conception being circulated by naysayers that Farmers/Herdsmen clashes were induced by religion and ethnicity.

Mohammed said the clashes were neither religious nor ethnic but resulted from the heightened contest for increasingly-scarce natural resources like land and water, due to demographic, environmental and other reasons.

On the progress made by the government, the minister said, “without any form of contradiction, no administration in the history of this country has achieved so much in so little a time and with so little resources in the area of infrastructure.

“However, most of our detractors realising that they cannot fault us on this never talk about the projects rather they are inventing fake news to de-market the administration.

“Also, governors that have not performed will like to heap the blame on the Federal Government.

“But I challenge any of them to match what they have done in the area of infrastructure compared to the Federal Government intervention projects in the states.

“Rest assured that this administration is committed to the infrastructural renewal of this country and we are leaving no stone unturned,” he said.

The minister said that the was working to undo the 20 years of damage by the previous governments.

“If a government comes in three years and able to revive, complete and make provision for abandoned infrastructure, it is only fair for the people to appreciate it. The Church as a being, has the mandate to highlight what it sees and that is exactly what happens

Miyetti Allah now ruling Nigeria for asking Saraki to resign – Benue govt

nigerianeye.com

Aug 23, 2018

The Benue State government has reacted to a recent statement credited to Garus Gololo of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders’ Association demanding the resignation of Senate President, Bukola Saraki.

The state government wondered why a mere breeders’ association could call for the resignation of the number three man of the nation when it was not a political party.

Tever Akase, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, said it was strange that many hours after such inciting comments, the man who spoke on behalf of the group had not been invited by security operatives for questioning.

Akase described the association’s claim to evict Saraki if he fails to resign an as insult to democracy.

He said, “It is becoming clear by the day that Miyetti Allah groups have not only assumed the position of the ruling party but are also influential to decisions of governance in this country.

“What constitutional right does the group have to spew invectives on the person and office of the Senate President without being arrested? Are security agencies sending a signal to Nigerians that Miyetti Allah groups are above the law and therefore untouchable?

“This is not the first time that Miyetti Allah associations have made inflammatory statements. The other time, the groups held press conferences and threatened to unleash terror on Benuepeople. They made real their threats and came out to claim responsibility for the killing of over 500 innocent Benuepeople between January and this month. They followed their gory act with threats of more bloodshed in Benue till the Open Grazing Prohibition and Ranches Establishment Law is suspended.

“The Benue State Government wrote several petitions alerting the country’s security chiefs. Yet, nothing was done and to this day, no Miyetti Allah leader has been invited by security agencies for interrogation.

“The boldness and authoritative tone with which leaders of Miyetti Allah associations speak on affairs of the nation leave us wondering if the speculation is true, that they plan to turn Nigeria to a Cow Republic.

“Miyetti Allah and the All Progressives Congress, APC now sound like one association with similar objectives. Nigerians should compare the tone of APC National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole when he threatened that the party would force Senator Saraki out of office if he failed to resign and the latest threat by Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association to forcefully evict Senator Saraki from office. The words are similar, the motive the same and the agenda also one.

“What is the source of Miyetti Allah groups’ authority to make statements injurious to the very soul of this country that no one seems to be calling them to order?

“Who is behind the Miyetti Allah groups, and what is the person’s mission?

“We urge Nigerians to reject this attempt to turn the country into a republic where the life of a cow has greater value than that of a human being. This level of impunity is not healthy for the nation. For democracy to be successful, it must be anchored on the rule of law.

“On Miyetti Allah’s attacks against Governor Ortom in the same media report, we are no longer surprised as the groups have never hidden their obsession with the Governor’s name. No day passes without the said groups coming out with one publication or the other against the Governor.

“The sad news for them is that Governor Ortom won’t bow to intimidation and harassment from them or any other person. The Open Grazing Prohibition and Ranches Establishment Law which they hate so much has come to stay and anyone who intends to breed livestock in Benue should be prepared to ranch the animals.”

Issuing the threat of continued killing without being restrained, how much less trying to remove the senate president! Removing him is not a bigger offence than killing innocent citizens.

Miyetti Allah; Cattle Rearers, terrorist group or political tugs?

• PDP issues 24-hour ultimatum to Buhari for group’s leaders’ arrest
• Ortom, HURIWA, others denounce inflammatory statement
• MACBAN distances self from ‘partisan’ Benue member
• Lawmakers vow to resist Senate president’s ejection

The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association (MACBAN) drew the ire of some Nigerians and groups yesterday after one of the leaders of the herders’ organisation became embroiled in the ongoing political drama involving Senate President Bukola Saraki.

One Alhaji Garus Galolo, said to be Miyetti Allah’s Benue State coordinator, had in an interview with a national daily added his voice to the repeated call by the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Saraki’s resignation, following his defection to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Galolo said: “Saraki ought not to be in office again as Senate President. More so, Saraki has failed to coordinate and organise the National Assembly to offer quality legislation that Nigerians need.

“Nigerians are in dire need of people that have the interest of the masses. Miyetti Allah is looking for a leader that would preside over the affairs of the Senate with ultimate respect for the executive and the judiciary, not someone like Senator Saraki that would always scheme to outdo the Presidency.

“We are tired of Saraki’s style of leadership at the National Assembly. Therefore, we are now warning him to honourably resign his position as president of the Senate or we will force him out.”

Galolo’s position, however, drew intense backlash, forcing the group’s national body to distance itself from the statement, in what might have been an attempt to amend MACBAN’s embattled public image.

But this was not before the PDP condemned the speech and issued an ultimatum. “In the light of these treasonable and inciting utterances by Miyetti Allah, we demand that President Muhammadu Buhari, should within the next 24 hours, order the arrest and commence the immediate trial of the leadership of this group, otherwise Nigerians will henceforth hold him directly responsible for the utterances and actions of Miyetti Allah,” it said in a statement by Spokesman Kola Ologbondiyan.

According to the party, “This unguarded statement by Miyetti Allah has exposed the synergy between the ruling party and some troublesome elements, who are being used to stoke division and create the violent crises that have resulted in daily bloodlettings in various parts of the country.

“It is now abundantly clear to Nigerians that those fomenting crises, including the bloody clashes in Benue, Taraba, Zamfara, Nasarawa, Plateau, Kaduna, Edo, Borno, Yobe, Enugu, Kogi, Adamawa and other states in our country, have political backers, who now want to channel them to achieve their unpatriotic quest to subvert our constitution and forcefully take over the National Assembly.”

The PDP claimed Miyetti Allah “has always represented the military wing of the APC and the Buhari presidency,” noting: “It is incontrovertible that they have now become the fourth arm of government that can determine when and how to forcefully remove the number three citizen, the president of the Senate.

“It is common knowledge that Mr. President has come under heavy public criticisms on how his body language has condoned the unguarded utterances and actions of these characters.”

Also denouncing the statement, Benue State governor, Samuel Ortom, said it was “becoming clear by the day that the Miyetti Allah has not only assumed the position of the ruling party but is also influential to decisions of governance in this country.”

He said this was not the first time Miyetti Allah groups have made inflammatory statements. “The other time, the groups held press conferences and threatened to unleash terror on Benue people. They made real their threats and came out to claim responsibility for the killing of over 500 innocent Benue people between January and this month.”

Ortom added: “Miyetti Allah and the APC now sound like one association with similar objectives. Nigerians should compare the tone of APC national chairman, Adams Oshiomhole when he threatened that the party would force Saraki out of office if he failed to resign and the latest threat by MACBAN to forcefully evict the senator from office. The words are similar, the motive the same and the agenda also one.”

On its part, pro-democracy group, Movement for Democratic Change (MDG), asked Buhari to call MACBAN to order. It said the group simply “echoed the mindset and plans of its paymasters and those giving it state support.”

A non-governmental organisation, Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria (HURIWA), also condemned the statement and urged the heads of the nation’s security agencies to rein in the group.

Meanwhile, issuing the disclaimer, MACBAN’s national secretary, Baba Uthman Ngelzarma, was quoted as saying: “The attention of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria has been drawn to an interview granted by one Garus Gololo in Makurdi (in a newspaper) titled, ‘Resign or we will force you out’ – Miyetti Allah to Saraki. This statement is unfortunate. I will categorically state that Garos Gololo spoke in his personal capacity and has no mandate to speak on behalf of the association.

“Miyetti Allah is a non-partisan association with no interest in the political terrain and we can’t meddle in the affairs of political actors thereby compounding our already obvious challenges.

“I therefore urge all and sundry to disregard this statement. This statement is not from MACBAN and should be disregarded in its entirety. We take exception to this statement. Garos Gololo is entirely on his own and will be sanctioned accordingly. We cannot afford to add to the many challenges we are confronted with.

“I’m therefore appealing to the general public to disregard this statement as it is coming from someone who doesn’t have the mandate of the association to speak on its behalf.”

In a related development, PDP senators yesterday vowed they would resist efforts by their APC counterparts to remove Saraki whenever the chamber reconvenes.

They affirmed this in a statement jointly signed by Senators Rafiu Ibrahim and Isah Misau on behalf of the party’s lawmakers.
